Thursday Night BINGO

We will be holding on alternate weekends either LIVE MUSIC or showing a movie at the pavilion. Join us every other Friday night for an evening of entertainment that is sure to please everyone. Join us for a festive and flavorful celebration of Cinco de Mayo! The park will be alive with vibrant decorations, lively music, and the irresistible aroma of delicious tacos in our restaurant. Our culinary team has crafted a special menu to celebrate this occasion, and each taco will be accompanied by fresh toppings and homemade salsas.
But that’s not all! The day will be filled with fun activities for the whole family, including games, crafts, and a piñata for the kids. In the evening there will be a costume contest and the winner will be announced at 9pm.
Whether you’re a local resident or visiting from out of town, Cinco Saturday at Glen Echo Resort promises to be a day of fun, festivity, and fantastic food.

​We’re having a rummage sale!
We are doing some spring cleaning and updates to the park. Come join us for a rummage sale starting at 8:00 am going till 3:30. Browse through the unique items and hidden treasures on the tables and bring the kids to try out our new jump pad and mining sluice.
This rummage sale is not only a fantastic opportunity to find great deals but also a chance for you clear out some clutter. If you would like to setup a booth for your own rummage sale please let us know and we can give you a spot. Please call the store to make arrangements. 970-881-2208

This delightful event promises an afternoon filled with elegance and charm. The restaurant, will be transformed into a tranquil English tea haven with fine china and fresh flowers.
Our tea selection boasts an array of traditional and exotic blends, sure to please any palate. Sip on classics like Earl Grey and English Breakfast or some more unique flavors. Accompanying the tea will be an assortment of finger sandwiches, including cucumber, smoked salmon, and egg salad. For those with a sweet tooth, the cakes and pastries will be a highlight. This year marks a special milestone as we celebrate 100 years of camping hospitality at the park with our Season Kickoff event on Saturday, May 17th. This celebration will be a joyous occasion filled with music, laughter, and the delicious tradition of making smores around the campfire. Come see the new updates to the park, meet the new staff and park seasonals.

Memorial Day Cookout and Campfires
Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember those who have sacrificed for our country, and what better way to commemorate this day than with a festive cookout surrounded by family, friends, and nature?
We will be serving up a mouthwatering selection of classic cookout favorites, including juicy hamburgers, savory hot dogs, and perfectly grilled chicken. Vegetarian options will also be available to ensure that all dietary preferences are catered to.

Chili Cookoff / Biggest Fish Caught
An ideal day with fathers in mind. The restaurant will be offering a Chili Special where guests will get to sample two different chili recipes and vote for which one is their favorite. As you indulge in the hearty and flavorful chili, you can feel the warmth and camaraderie that this event fosters. The chefs have put their best recipes forward, ensuring that every bite is a delightful experience.

For the fishing enthusiasts, the "Biggest Fish Caught" contest is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills. Whether you're an experienced angler or just trying your luck, the thrill of the catch awaits. Bring your catch to us by 6 PM, and the participant with the biggest fish will win a fantastic prize. The anticipation and excitement of the weigh-in will surely make for a memorable event.

Independence Day Celebrations
The festivities will include a variety of activities designed for guests of all ages. Starting at 10:00 AM, you can join the park parade and enjoy the lively atmosphere as floats and participants march through the campground. Feel free to decorate your bikes, wagons, or even yourself in patriotic colors and join the procession.

From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, we will host a traditional burger and brats cookout where you can indulge in mouthwatering grilled delights. Enjoy the savory flavors and the company of fellow campers as you dine in the beautiful outdoor setting. The evening includes a bubbles and foam party that promises a whimsical experience for everyone. Dance and play in the foamy fun as bubbles fill the air, creating a magical and joyful ambiance.

Instead of fireworks, gather around the campfire for a "colorful" display that will light up the night sky with mesmerizing hues. The vibrant and dazzling colors will create a unique and enchanting experience. Pirate Weekend
Ahoy, mateys! Shiver me timbers, it’s Pirate Weekend! Prepare to set sail on an adventurous journey filled with swashbuckling fun and pirate-themed activities for the whole family. The festivities will kick off with a treasure hunt that will lead you through the park in search of hidden riches. Don't forget to don your best pirate attire, as there will be a costume contest with fantastic prizes for the most convincing buccaneers.
Throughout the day, enjoy interactive pirate shows, games, and crafts. Kids can join the Pirate Academy to learn the ropes of pirate life, including how to speak like a pirate and basic swordplay. For the adults, there will be a special rum tasting event featuring an array of exotic rums from around the world.
The restaurant will be serving a Fish Fry for dinner and as the sun sets, gather around the campfire for pirate tales and sea shanties that will transport you to the Golden Age of Piracy. The evening will culminate in a spectacular pirate-themed colored campfire display that will light up the night sky with dazzling colors.

Let your creativity run wild as you transform your campsite into a haunted haven. From eerie lighting to ghostly figures, showcase your best Halloween decorations for a chance to win fabulous prizes. Our judges will be on the lookout for the most imaginative and spine-tingling setups, so make sure to pull out all the stops!
Of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete without Trick or Treating. Little goblins and ghosts can wander through the park, stopping at decorated sites to collect their bounty of candy and treats. It's a safe and delightful way for children to enjoy the spirit of Halloween.
As darkness falls, the Costume Contest will take center stage. Dress up in your most elaborate, frightening, or whimsical costumes and join the parade of ghouls, witches, and other fantastical creatures. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes in various categories, including most original, scariest, and funniest. This is your chance to let your inner monster shine!
